Our Ranch was created with Alpacas in mind. Once you visit Brightside Bend you will see how a plan comes together. We have 20 acres separated into 12 fields made especially for Alpacas. We even built a large landscaped Alpaca mound at the center of the front field so our alpacas can better enjoy the view.
Join in the fun! The Hay Maze, Mt. Baldwin Dirt Hill, Games, Pumpkin Paths, Red Wagons and Corn Hole are joined this year by a huge Bouncy Castle and Pony Rides. The pet goats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats are joined this year by a horse, cow and llama. Fun for Kids Young and Old
Exotic Animals, including Lemurs, Camels, Kangaroos, Llamas and a new baby Zebra! We also have Camel Rides and Pony Rides during the fall, and for specific festivals. Contests, give aways, apple toss, face painting, and live entertainment on special weekends. The food is fantastic.
Kids, this farm's for you! Check out all there is to see and do! One of the very best things about living on a farm is that we get to have pets of all different kinds. There are many animal friends waiting to meet you at our free Petting Zoo, including Eeyore the Sicilian donkey, Patrick the miniature horse, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a llama.
Trunnell's Family Fun-Acre includes activities to keep active toddlers happy, school-aged youngsters intrigued, and young adults amazed. We don't feel we've had a good harvest unless every family leaves with smiles on their faces, pleasant farm memories in their heads, and a little dirt in their shoes!
